Armenia Dissemination

Participants from Armenia done follow up activities separately as followed:

Razmik Mnatsakanyan

The activity was done at Oshakan, Aragatsotn, the RA in July 14, 2022 for 1 hour. 20 participants took part in the activity. The group included people between 14-17 years old, both boys and girls. All of them were stakeholders of the ''Uniting Bridge'' Social NGO.

During the activity, I had a 15-minute presentation on the training course and shared my experience with it. I exemplified to the participants the new methods of reconnecting with nature, skills for a better understanding of themselves and others, the importance of awareness of human rights and responsibilities, and the promotion of equal treatment for everyone.

Later I implemented one of the activities called Abigail's Tale. It is a story that shows how peoples' views can differ depending on diverse values, backgrounds, and cultural experiences they hold. It shows that while having the same information, people can get different conclusions. I gave them the printed version of the story and split them into groups of 5. I gave them about 15-20 minutes to establish the guilty parties, ranking characters from the guiltiest to the less guilty ones. Afterward, we did a group discussion and a debriefing. We debated how similar people can think differently and how important it is to master skills for self-understanding to have cultural awareness about others.

The activity took place at Ashtarak, Aragatsotn, RA in July 16 2022, 40 mins and the presentation was held by Artur Tovmasyan. 12 participants took part in the activity. The group included people between 25-40 years old, both men and women. All of them were public servants from different institutions of the country.

During the representation, I introduced participants to the overall training course, all the carried out activities, and new techniques and methods obtained throughout the program. The main concentration was on outdoor activities, specifically the connection with the air element and the hiking activities.

In daily work, full of stress and pressure, having a peaceful mind and controlling the stress and anxiety is crucial. A detailed plan was designed for all institutions for an outdoor picnic and hiking for co-workers (every servant at his/her institution) to relax, find a balance, reenergize, strengthen the body for emotional well-being and overall health, and to increase working efficiency. The participants were very motivated to find new approaches and tools and discover ways for their implementation.

Astghik Mnatsakanyan

The online dissemination and follow up activity was held by Astghik Mnatsakanyan and Razmik Mnatsakanyan. It was an Online zoom meeting that took place at July 08, 2022 for 40 mins. 23 participants took part in the activity. The group included people between 22-26 years old, both men and women. Participants were working for the National Assembly of the RA, for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the RA, and the Central Bank of the RA. During the presentation, Razmik, as a head of the Uniting Bridge Social NGO, talked about ERASMUS+ projects and presented the latter's impact and importance for youth. Afterward, I introduced participants to the training course ''RE-Connect with Nature: protecting the Environment For Inner Health''. I introduced them to ACPELIA Cyprus and how it organized the 10-day-training course. I presented all activities we had throughout the training and shared with them all the new knowledge, methods, and experience I acquired due to the program. I explained to them how crucial it is to reconnect with nature by connecting with their inner self, relieving modern-life stress through coping strategies, and finding clarity and harmony.

To illustrate the range, scope, and essence of the performed activities, I showed them photos and videos of the indoor and outdoor activities. Afterward, we answered participants' questions and had a small discussion with them about the importance of raising environmental awareness and protecting nature through a "greener" way of living.

Liana Rozikyan

The presentation took place at Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex, Yerevan, RA and was held by Liana Rozikyan at July 25, 2022 for 1 hour. 20 participants took part in the activity. The group included 5 teachers and 15 people between 7-10 years old, both boys and girls. All of them were pupils of the school where I work.

During the representation, I implemented one of theactivities which my team created during the training course based on the knowledge and skills we obtained throughout the exercises. Before the presentation, I met with my colleagues, introducing them to the whole training course and the upcoming activity in detail. The latter aimed to overcome language barriers and ReConnect with nature and inner-self (find harmony). I played a song in a foreign language about nature. Then I asked the group to listen to it and talk about what kind of song it is and what mood it evokes, and what connection it has with nature.

Afterward, I played the song again, and participants wrote down as many lyrics as they could memorize (without worrying about spelling). Then 5 volunteers read out their words, and we discussed if those words actually appear in the song. It is always interesting to find out how many similar sounds all the participants have remembered. Then I played the song again, asking the participants to draw whatever they felt during it, and repeated the song 2 times since the audience wanted it. After this stage, participants shared their drawings and explained their feelings and thoughts about the song and the overall activity.

Participants impressions from the training

Razmik Mnatsakanyan

Participation in the ''RE-Connect with Nature: protecting the Environment For Inner Health'' Training Course organized by ACPELIA Cyprus helped me develop myyouth worker competencies in the field of understanding myself, thus encouraging others to do the same. During the training period, I have acquired appropriate tools and discovered new methods to be more connected with nature. As a chairman of the ''Uniting Bridge'' SNGO, I know the enormous time, effort, and consistency required for it and what difficulties the organization can face while coordinating the training. Thus, I can assuredly state that the organizers did their best to ensure the smoothness of the program.

From June 15-26, 2022, I took part in the Training Course''RE-Connect with Nature: protecting the Environment For Inner Health''. This learning course helped me to discover new ways of understanding myself. As my everyday work requires a lot of concentration, and I work with people of different ages and backgrounds, all the new stress-relieving techniques I learned throughout training are particularly precious to me. This program was my first experience with the ERASMUS+ projects, and I am grateful I had it with ACPELIA Cyprus since the organization did everything to ensure participants' engagement. The project was well organized, structured, and supervised.

This summer, I was honored to be part of one of the best ERASMUS+ projects organized in Cyprus by ACPELIA.''RE-Connect with Nature: protecting the Environment For Inner Health'' was an experimental training course- a unique combination of workshops and theoretical knowledge aimed at raising awareness about nature. This project helped me to develop my mental well-being, obtain new mechanisms for stress management and balance my daily life. I gained valuable knowledge which will be practical for my job at school. I am a teacher, and comprehending new methods to engage children and connect them with nature is essential for my work. I am thankful to ACPELIA for its excellent organization of training's indoor and outdoor daily activities and for constantly being available for participants when necessary.

Astghik Mnatsakanyan

''RE-Connect with Nature: protecting the Environment For Inner Health'' training course organized by ACPELIA Cyprus was my first but not the last ERASMUS+ project. I appreciate all the efforts, time, and commitment the organization put into implementing this well-structured, resourceful, and result-oriented course. The novel methods I discovered helped me to better connect with nature and gain self-confidence and stability. Furthermore, those techniques will help increase environmental awareness among my co-workers and contribute to my volunteering work in ''Uniting Bridge'' SNGO to spread those values and enhance sincere dialogue for the young generation.
